In third grade, I purchased a blank hardcover book from my school's supply stand and found the first thing I was actually good at. ​

I would spend hours hand writing stories, that I then would take into the computer room (90s baby) and type out, page by page, so I could manually cut and paste the copy into my books. 

 

Library award winners like, The Scarecrow's Tales, Dad's Day Off, and Horses skyrocketed my confidence as I continued to write.

From presentations to plays, radio spots, and rhetoric, I wrote it all. I even wrote my own obituary in eighth grade, thanks Mrs. Horban.

In 2018, I graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago with my degree in advertising and public relations.

I am currently working as a senior copywriter at Leo Burnett, satisfying my third grade aspirations.
